  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Form Patties: Shape the mixture into uniform patties.
  • Cooking:
  • Pan-frying: Heat oil over medium-high heat and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Baking: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  • Air frying: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 8-10 minutes.

Notes

  • For gluten-free: substitute flour with almond or coconut flour.
  • Add panko or oats for more texture.
  • Great served with tartar sauce, remoulade, or lemon-dill aioli.
