- 1 can 14-15 oz salmon, drained and deboned
- ½ cup breadcrumbs or panko
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup onion finely diced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tbsp fresh dill or parsley optional
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil for frying
In a large bowl, flake the salmon and remove any bones or skin.
Add breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, herbs, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
